Dry, crisp and refreshing
Bunkers celebrates some of Margaret River’s greatest surf breaks. The region is a magnet for both wine lovers and surfers from all over the world.
Windmills is an exposed beach that mixes fast breaking left and right hander’s for plenty of action. For those wine tastes that straddle red and white styles, the Windmills Rosé may well be the perfect break. Its delicate hue masks complex flavours of summer fruits and winter berries. Breezy!

WINEMAKER’S NOTE: An attractive salmon-pink colour with potpourri, subtle spice and fennel aromas. The palate is lively with initial spicy fruit flavours of cherry and bramble leading to a crisp, ultra-dry finish.
VINTAGE: The 2018 vintage was especially benign for whites and early reds. The growing season was one of the best in memory. Look for aromatic wines of note this vintage.
VINEYARDS: Our vineyards are in northern Margaret River with soils of mostly fine clay loams. All vines are vertically shoot positioned and run in north south aspect.
VINIFICATION: Made by the classic Saignée method where juice is run off from grapes destined for a red wine fermentation. Fermented in stainless steel then bottled early to retain freshness.
